The game was tightly contested from the opening tip, with the teams deadlocked at 37–37 at halftime. Sandhills matched that first-half output with another 37-point effort in the second half and made timely plays down the stretch to secure the five-point win.
Zack Noel led the Flyers with 15 points and a team-high 12 rebounds, recording a double-double while anchoring the paint on both ends of the floor. Kendall Smith added 13 points off the bench, while Mylon Campbell and Titus Cunningham each finished with 11 points. Campbell also contributed across the stat sheet with four rebounds, three assists, and a block.
Despite shooting just 37.8 percent from the field and 20.0 percent from three-point range, Sandhills controlled the game on the glass, outrebounding Patrick & Henry 47–36, including 18 offensive rebounds that led to key second-chance opportunities. The Flyers also capitalized at the free-throw line, knocking down 14-of-18 attempts.
Defensively, Sandhills forced 19 turnovers and recorded four blocks, helping limit Patrick & Henry's scoring chances in the closing minutes as the Flyers protected their lead.
