Flyers Add Beach Defender Breanna Armstrong
Sandhills Community College Beach Volleyball is excited to announce the signing of Breanna Armstrong, a defender from Chatham Charter, to the Flyer family.
Armstrong brings a strong defensive presence and competitive mindset to the sand. She has been playing volleyball since the 6th grade and developed her game with Zoo City Volleyball Club.
At Chatham Charter, Armstrong also lettered in softball and earned Most Improved honors. Her multi-sport background and quickness make her a valuable addition to the Flyers' beach lineup.
Armstrong chose Sandhills after setting a goal early in high school to play for the program. She plans to major in Sonography and is looking forward to building relationships with her teammates and competing for wins. She enjoys the unique partnership of beach volleyball and the connection it creates between teammates.
Flyers Head Coach Alicia Riggan is excited about the addition: "We are thrilled to welcome Breanna Armstrong to the Flyer family. Breanna is a true all-around player whose versatility, athleticism, and competitive spirit will make an immediate impact on our beach program."
